I bought a good fake Kaws IV for comparison and I thought I'd share this with you guys.

Left is unauthorized fake, right is the legit par.

One other thing about fakes is the quality obviously, the materials are really cheap. For example the hang tag is very flimsy, the legit pair has a cardboard like strength in it. Same with the tounge, you csn also see the difference in suede and the stitching.


The shoe lace is also a dead giveaway. The authentic pair should be really close to the color of the Jumpman logo on the tongue.

As for the box and dustbag, I cant see any difference there. Theres is a difference in the black JB card though. It appears to have a consistent black glossy finish and. The card that came with the fake has a touch of grey-black on it.

Did they fix the dust bag art lines? Look closely at the lines of the hands. Real pair should have a thin line running though the sketch, while fakes have a messy drawing type print .
