Jordan Oregon 9 Sample LC/PC

Just received these Brand New sample 9's from eBay and have a few ?'s. Not sure if the yellow laces actually came with these or if they're just replacements:

- Authentic? eBay user had perfect feedback and was located in Oregon (not sure if that's relevant) 

- Estimated value? (if authentic)

Please let me know if more pics are needed, and all opinions are more than welcome. Thanks in advance

This is a tricky one..Although I cant say with 100% certainty either way there are a few things im concerned about here..

1- Box sticker is suspicious. Should have a BOM sticker with a number and size..Known legit pairs I have come across, were this way..The stamp in the box is also questionable, im not certain on this, but i don't think it should be there.
2- The shoes are DS..They should be lightly used at best..From my understanding ALL legit pairs of these will be worn 1x at least..Players and people who were given these were contractually obligated to wear them to media days etc. before the game..
3- Size tags should be numbered by hand (by more than likely the UO equipment manager). All legit pairs ive seen have been numbered..Reference links below. This and the fact they have been worn are signs of legit pairs. Ones that were issued anyway..I cant say nike didnt make a few extras or something that weren't issued - but its HIGHLY unlikely IMO.. Even so If they were not issued to a player/coach and worn, they should still be in a BOM box probably
4- yellow laces should not be there..That doesn't mean anything though.

Sorry I wish i could be of more help but these are rare, and having said that we dont have much to compare them against. If you paid a steal price that may be another clue. You are requesting there value so this makes me believe you didnt pay what they go for...Legit these will run you $2000-2500ish+..An they will be used lightly. Try and go outside and snap a few more pix for us, like close ups of the logos, details etc..Anything that may help. The shoes themselves look ok IMO from these images so im a little torn, but fakes of these wouldn't be terribly hard to reproduce. An we both know how many fakes are out there right..Id personally want to be 100, with a pair with everything in order as I've seen it before..Easier to prove, and sell..

Thanks for all the info @TIMMYBRIXXX, definitely a tricky one. After watching the videos of the authentic pairs, I have to say mine look identical lol still definitely have the red flags with the box and size tag not being numbered. Going to add some more pics/info... Again, really appreciate you taking the time to help me out.

Signs of possibly being worn? I only said they were Brand New because that's what the eBay listing stated. A few toe creases and some marks on the soles. Could definitely see these being worn once:

Heel pull tab is identical to the authentic pair shown in the one video provided. Butter smooth leather with a rough leather inside:

Butter smooth suede. Feels very similar to the uppers on my BIN 13's. Can see a noticeable change in color when moving your finger along it. Tried to get a pic illustrating that as best as possible:

And of course another red flag... I did win these via eBay auction (i had my max bid at $1,500) so maybe the poor title/poor pics resulted in nobody noticing them?

Thats VERY wishful thinking bud...Not to sound like a d+++ but you guys gotta get it outta your heads thats you are that lucky to find some idiot with legit PEs and other HIGHLY saught after kicks for pennies on the dollar on Ebay..Its just crazy. ANYONE who owns a legit pair of these, knows EXACTLY what their worth..No one IMHO is leaving 2K on the table on legit UO PEs.. I feel its much more probable here that you just doubled some guy up who sold you fake PEs for roughly double what he paid, over you finding the deal of the century on Ebay? Im not saying it dosent happen but these days, its literally 1/10000000..

Other things im seeing wrong now are stamps under insoles and no glue on the insoles, cardboard inserts in the shoes..Generally PEs dont come with things like this but i cant speak for this particular model..You need to compare to a known legit pair....Also the embossing is backwards on the top logo on the inserts im noticing..The arrows should be proud, not embossed, coincidentally like MANY fakes these days.. The listing never states 100% authentic or anything like so (BIG RED FLAG), 99% of his listings are fishing equipment and he sold 3 pairs of used dress shoes. No other Js(ANOTHER BIG RED FLAG) IDK bro..Seems very sketch IMO.

Also quality does not by default = legit..Many fake shoes these days have quality materials and builds. Especially the fake UOs. This is why fakes can cost $200 retail and people pay it..Regardless of a shoe being legit or fake there is roughly only about $20-$30 give or take in materials per pair..What makes the value is hype and limited production numbers.. Like I said before, the shoes look the part, but everything else isn't adding up IMO..Too many red flags as far as im concerned. Id advise you to go compare them somewhere with actual legit pairs such a FC because I may be mistaken.

Definitely see where you're coming from.

I messaged the seller and asked if he could give any back story on the shoes because I have serious doubts about authenticity and he said "Given that I worked at Nike for 15 years and got these from the Michael Jordan building at their WHQ I know they are authentic. Thanks"

You think there could be any truth to that?
