Anyone that want these will get them if they put forth the effort. Nike just want to sell out of their stock and the only way to guarantee that is by doing raffles in which you must submit your payment info at the same time.
Canadian.cross out 1-2 shoes on your wtb list and get a phone
Why is it a shame?I seriously can't believe they labeled these QS. That term is watered down, just like the market as a whole. Shame on Nike.
Exactly. Nike just messed up and made too many. You release the CP3 13's, which was SUPPOSEDLY limited, via website and SNKRS but raffle a shoe that's flooded because lately J's been sitting.
Exactly , take all my reps!^Nike didn't mess up by making too manyNike finally listened to what we all were asking for, and now we got what we were asking for.
They only messed up if you're looking at it from a resellers point-of-view.
SCREW NIKEGlad I got in their stock recently. Let's make Nike stock holders have another banner year NT community!
Yeah I hear what you are saying, but you said you worked in retail? Let me ask you a question. I live in a smaller city, how come some of the stores around me didn't receive Aqua 8's (100% serious, I know it's crazy) yet they are getting tons of these? I know I said this a million times already in the thread, i'm just trying to figure it out, and who better to ask than someone who worked in retail. Thanks in advance.
Are you people REALLY basing the hype off availability? REAAAALLLLLYYYY (Kevin Hart) I think it's rather obvious every store, rather big or small, has different allocations for various reasons. Just because a store receives a release "here" doesn't mean they'll receive a release "there." Obviously with this being the Holiday season, smaller stores WILL receive some kind of allocation to bolster sales and satisfy demand.
I keep reading some of yall basing the availability of these compared to BF shoes such as the Aquas. As a former retail manager, you CANNOT compare BF or pre-xmas releases to ANY other time of the year, including other releases during the Holiday season. As noted, the Aquas were produced in MASSIVE #s, don't be surprised around 500k plus. People keep saying the Aquas are sitting, YES their "sitting" b/c ppl are waiting on other shoes to drop this month including these, possible yeezys, LBJs, KDs, & of course the Retro 11. As Vampire mentioned, the Aqua isn't "sitting" b/c it's sales or sell-through is right where it needs to be in line with other BF release shoes & the availability from ALL retailers.
Personally, with these shoes labelled a QS, that means production #s are lower than other Holiday releases, probably under 75-100k, and while some people will "eat or cook" others will be left in the dust. Since I left retail, I cop strictly online via NDC, FNL, or Eastbay. If I miss out on a shoe, which happens waaaayyy too often, I try for the next one I like. Again, don't be misunderstood by the allocation #s or "hype" based on previous releases b/c we all know JB doesn't produce the same #s for every shoe.

*Edit*What? So, you are telling me that I can actually like a shoe just using personal preference and not base it off of whether Drake has worn them or if they will double up in value in two years? This concept of liking a shoe because I like it and not letting others or other circumstances dictate whether I like it is kind of new to me, please tell me more.
What are you talking about?!
Worm?
*Edit*I meant worn. I was using sarcasm.
That's a really weird time to launch. I wonder why they're going that route.got an email from champs saying these are launching at 8 PM
no idea man, but as someone that works nights. it's pretty wackThat's a really weird time to launch. I wonder why they're going that route.got an email from champs saying these are launching at 8 PM
Fail.
But seriously, what the heck are you talking about? Did I even respond to you? I responded to another NTer about how he said Nike messed up by making too many.
Not yet, i'm just warming up the potYou got your pair?? Congrats if so, i'm stoked for tomorrow
My fault fam. I re-read it and it makes sense nowIt wasn't aimed at you. I was just commenting of this notion that the first question some people on this forum ask is "how much will this shoe be worth in two years" and "how limited are they?". You mentioned how only resellers would be mad about the recent revelation that these are going to be everywhere. I agreed with you. Context, my friend!

I kind of got side swiped when I first read it
