Jordan XI Low White/Red Summer '16 NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING/OPS

Relax bro.. It was only a valid advise to his tax question.

And yes FYI I do alot of international trade in the US and Europe (Manfuring Plant in Asia) both import and export. So I am a little familiar with how international shipping works .

And I appreciate the advise bro. This is what we all should be like, looking out tor one another :D

oh, and if youve never ordered kicks online from overseas before, then you shouldnt be trying to tell people what merchants will or wont do. as youve never been through it.
Most of the Asian or Asian own ones will do, but not the western owned ones. I guess Asians are more flexible in that way lol
dont know if theyre asian owned or not, or what u even mean by asian owned and western owned. but ive orderd from places like hanon, end, kickz , sns, and a few more and all mark down a majority of the time so you dont get charged customs.

maybe they only do it for shoes cause they know whats up?

plus didnt they raise the customz limit to like over $500 or something now?

didnt they raise the limit past $200? i thought i read something about that

I never purchase from hanon or end, but places like Amazon, footlocker, east bay, Dover street market etc won't mark down value. While Asian own shops from HK will normally be ok with lowering down the value.

oh i get it now. i briefly forgot youre not in the USA like me lol. i was talking about overseas shipping packages from the sites i mentioned into USA. i honestly dont know if they do the same if its going to canada or any other country, or even from USA to any other country.

Some will, but most won't.

That's why it's hard and more expensive for collectors in Asia than it is in the us. Even the retail price of shoes here cost more.

Taxes are VAT and varies with each country's . Tax's % is not just based on the value but the HT code for the consumer product. Most "Asia shipper" will declared the item as gift to avoid the tax. Anyways don't want to Bombay this thread about shipping .

Good luck and that's why we have " insurance " [emoji]128513[/emoji]

I think I'll wait for a few more days till the sellers on eBay receive their online orders and then start the buying. As its kinda hard to filter through it with most of them posting official pics and confirmation screen shots only.

Gift or merchandise do nothing in my country. It's just the value that they are concern with. Anything above $50 will get charged 30-45% tax, with leather shoes on the heavier end of the tax at 45% :x:{:{

In Asia the consumer does not pay the sales tax unlike her in the US, but the tax is already added to the sticker price.

I've been charged once or twice for every hundreds of package that I receive. Like the air max 95 from east bay, I got charged like 80-90$ including handling charge by dhl :{

If you do have to ship with a lower $ value . Mark the item as gift and ship it by Fedex international ( 4 days transit time) only. Don't ship DHL , Smart post or Etc.

but lets not talk about foams in this jordan thread lol. i just think those are so nice.

It's nice, but I don't think it's a versatile enough of shoes that I can wear often.

Even if I had them sent back, I'd have to get them shipped again which cost another $50 or so via dhl, which isn't that much difference lol
