Jordan XI Space Jam (2000 version) - December 12, 2026

It’s not just the 11s , I used to hoop in jays from 1999-2006, the decline was the the cdp retros . Everything felt like bricks after. I used to run through summer league with the 04 bred 13 and steel 10s .. shoot even the 05 bred 14s .. so comfy .. tf happened to Jordan brand lol

They got greedy and cut a lot of corners. They realised that folks would buy retros no matter what. The cdp series definitely was the end of quality across the board. It started in 06' though. I bought the Cardinal 7s and quality was great. I also bought the Mars 4s and they were beyond trash. Things just got worse going forward.

FACTS!!!

I was hooping in all of the early retros, '00 5s, '03 3s and 8s, '04 2s and Oly 7s, '05 Steel 10s and Laser 4s. You can only imagine my shock and frustration starting with the 2006 Mars 4s where suddenly the midsole was hard as rock compared to how the lasers were just a year prior. I still did hoop in those as well as the 06 FR 5s, and the FR 3s and black/red 8s from '07. After that I didn't want to deal with them anymore and made the switch with Kobe 1s and 2s being my primary on court weapons.

Every chance I get I bring up the fact they even up until today, most retro Jordans aren't nearly as comfortable as they should be if they just made them properly.

There is a class action lawsuit against ON for squeaky Cloud shoes. It’s too bad NT didn’t lawyer up right after the Fire Red 4s. Would have saved us years of ******** from Gentry.

It appears two things with this version will deter me from getting them.

The price hike to $255 is one thing.

Although the stitched 23 is preferred by lots of people wanting these, I would have preferred them to go with the inked version of the 23 to replicate the original 2000 version of this color scheme going off my purist standpoint.

I just feel a price increase for a copy of a previous version should replicate all of the specs in exact details.
