On my playoff retro XII's, one of the uppper plastic laceloops has broken off, is there a way to fix this problem? please help.......

this is a known problem, don't lace them up to the top

I super glued mine and stopped lacing them high. Apparently lacing your shoe for support is just for show.

they might even come off even if you don't lace them, probably from stuff scraping and bumping into them since they are exposed.

Coincidence. I'm actually wearing mine today. Never any problems with the laceloops. Maybe you tie them too tight. Shoe glue might help. And after you putit back on, I'd suggest using the lace-hole instead of the plastic loop.
On a side note. On the way to work I was trying to remember when these released. Anyone know? Im thinking Nov 04', but Im pretty sure I'm wrong.

i remember i had the black and whites when they came out, eyelets fell off, couldnt be repaired, bought the white and reds and navy and white and had to chooseone. still not sure if i made the right decision

yes sir. 2 of mine fell of 1 on each shoe, after that I pulled all of them off and drilled holes where the hoops were so that I could still wear them to ballin.

yeah, sucks, i wear mine in a league that i hoop in, and i have bad ankles, so I lace them all the way to the top because I have problems with one of myankles, i wish there was a way to fix it.......

Dont lace them all the way up and dont lace them to tight, also try not to bump into things

THIS SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! I balled in mine one time and one of the plastic lace hoops broke off...now i just wear em for basketball...pissin me off....
