Jordan XIII og size 13.5

Hey guys I'm new to the forums so if I'm posting in the wrong place I apologize. I just got some 1997 Jordan xiii given to me by my old boss. He's really rich a collects a lot of Jordan memorabilia. The shoes have some different coding then what I've seen and being that they say pe on the tongue and that they are sz 13.5 I just wondered if anyone knew anything about them.

Where does it say PE?

Just on the label says pat pe ...I know why it says pat but the production date just says 999998 idk anything about them.

Mj was a 13.5 so maybe they was for him. Better put them on the bay for 50,000 minimum

Well I know he was a 13.5 but I didn't know what the chances were that they were actually made for him. Or considering this guy has tons of Jordan memorabilia maybe mj wore em. I know some people can tell from the coding or prod. Date etc they can tell ya a lot about the shoe and I'm basically clueless.

Looks like they were for MJ.

Most likely for MJ himself since they're OGs.  They didn't have tons of players wearing Js back then so based upon the fact that they are a size 13.5 PE in a bulls CW it kinda narrows it down to MJ (maybe Eddie Jones? I believe he wears around a size 13 and was with JB at the time). Not sure that would affect the value, however, since they aren't signed and it would be tough to prove they were made for him. Nice come up.

but im sure half sizes were made back then as well. they're just harder to come across.

heck ive seen a sz14.5 in 99 iv's and xv's non pe exclusives

Go get them appraised. Is the other shoe a sz 13 by any chance?

No they are both 13.5

Check other OG 13's.....I think PAT PE is short for Patent Pending or something. Notice the ND that begins the following line? Other OG 13's all say PAT PEND on them as well.

Just my opinion, but these are not PE's. Just a regular pair of OG's.

It clearly says PAT PEND not pe. the way it was printed it just runs on, the ND is on the next line
