Jordan Zion 4

Looks like henz0 here.

ZW lookin good. Hope he can strong together some good karma.

I'm doing the turn on these a bit. They still look super cheap but I like that safari colorway, and if they feel good on foot and are performers, I may be in

Make space. Move with confidence. Take flight — and land in comfort.

That’s the pledge of Jordan Brand’s new Zion 4, which is built to accentuate the combination of strength and speed at the center of Zion Williamson’s game.

The low-top silhouette upgrades to a Cushlon 3.0 drop-in midsole atop a full-length parabolic Air Zoom strobel, providing hoopers a springy, double-stacked layer of cushioning that’s both responsive at takeoff and plush upon landing.

A computationally designed outsole offers excellent court feel, delivering extra durability in high-wear areas and additional traction where athletes need it most.

The Zion 4 is designed to help hoopers get off the ground quickly and seamlessly transition from one dynamic move to the next, building upon the responsiveness, containment and impact protection from Zion’s previous signature models.

The new silhouette carries forward the drop-in midsole setup from the Zion 3, providing the immediate reaction and plush landings Zion loves while improving the fit of the shoe to boost his game and appeal to a wider variety of athletes.

The Damascus Steel launch colorway and upcoming Mud to Marble and Forged in Fire styles expand on motifs from Zion’s previous signature silhouette, referencing his hard work making it “out of the mud” during his journey from Marion, South Carolina to the NBA. An upcoming white and black colorway also adds a classic look to the Zion 4 lineup.

The silhouette will be available soon at jordan.com and select retail locations.

I wonder how they are gonna implement that full length Zool strobel into that drop-in midsole? 🤔 and what in the heck does "parabolic" mean in this context? 😅

Damascus Steel aint it but in to try the Mud to Marbles and after that maybe the Forged in Fire joints. Also hope he is back hoopin by release day.

I don't think I've ever seen him that happy in a video. Crazy. Guess we'll see if they release 13.5s, else I'm out. Cause he notes in the video they are narrow like previous zions. And I still have a pair of 2s rotting in the closet because I can't even get my foot in them joints. That drop in midsole he's so giddy about looks phenomenal cushion-wise

He said theyre slightly more forgiving than the 3. And by looking at them from a top down view their width looks more normal-ish to me. Theyre ridiculously curved though

DSG had these on their release calendar for 1/28 but now they are showing on 2/6. I’m a fan of Zoom strobel cushioning but not a fan of that first colorway so hopefully they’ll have them in store near me so I can at least try a pair to see if they go on the wish list.

I took the full length zoom insole out of a heavily discounted pair of Zion 3 SEs and put them in the Serious Player Only player 1 plus and they fit pretty well. I like that combo more than any insole that came with the player 1 plus. Hopefully the insole in the Zion 4 is thin enough to actually feel the zoom. I don’t feel the Zoom air at all in the Jordan 39 despite the softness of the ZoomX foam.

Cant lie, they look cheap & basic AF. And for $140.... I may wait for a sale unless early reviews say they knocked it (respectfully) out of the park.

This new product shot angle is also interesting. Not sure what they're hoping to accomplish other than showing the vented toebox?
