Not trying to thread hijack, but I got robbed right under my nose a few weeks ago. Been going back and forth with a chick I've been messing with for a year and was trying to start doing right by her.
I tried to squeeze in some random ratchet yambz and paid the cost. This chick got me for almost 1k worth of stuff. The part that hurt the most was it was stuff the chick I'm trying to get right with got me for my bday.
At any rate, through detective skills of my own I got my stuff back. Police were worthless. Until this thread it didn't even occur to me I had renters insurance so that may have been an option.
With that said, I know your pain OP. Knowing that someone thinks they could get away with robbing you. Knowing that you probably know who it is etc.
Something to think about, my situation def made me do an assessment of my life. Any time we've got an attachment to physical things be prepared to deal with suffering cause they can come and go at a moments notice. Sounds like you've got this part covered with the right state of mind.
The most humbling part of the situation is the laws of attraction. When things work in our favor we're quick to point out how embracing positivity has brought things in our life's from places we couldn't have forecasted. Yet, when unfortunate events such as robbery, medical illness, and hard times arise we chalk it up to chance. Not saying you or I are bad people, but we are the only one who knows what goes on in our hearts and minds in its entirety. I def was not living right when I got robbed.
At any rate sorry for the rant, and the fact someone got your stuff man. Stay positive keep your head up and it'll come back around.
