On Saturday i picked up a clean '98 Honda Prelude from some old lady that lived a couple towns over from me.

I actually scoped it out a couple weeks before buying it and it was clean never raced and everything running perfectly

im pretty sure it was never raced 'cause the lady was at least 50-60 years old.

Its also a standard and I am still learning to drive as we speak. got it registered and insured and drove it on regular roads.

its tougher than i had thought but im starting to get the hang of it

onto the pics taken after a T-storm:

For the people who are gonna say ducktales about the standard

idk just figured people would say that

some dude posted his G35 coupe on here,

saying it was standard and some car heads said only the Manuals have Brembo brakes on them

and his didnt have it..

haha or something to that effect.

LOL at her driving a stick. My friend picked up an Eclipse years ago from an old lady as well, also stick. How many miles on her and how much did you pay?

Thanks Ivan..

tell me you got a car by now kid..

i needed cause im gonna commute to UML this year

she got about 136,666

i had to change that kinda superstitious haha

but i copped for about $4000

^ yeah i tried to pick the Type SH(super-handling)

but couldnt find any in my price range

not to say they arent cheap.. cause they are way affordable

great little car. i owned an '01 type sh for 2 years and loved it. IIRC, the 5th generation prelude is pretty notorious for transmission issues (i.e.grinding between gearshifts; synchros issues) mine developed some 2nd->3rd gear grind but nothing a transmission fluid flush/refill couldn't help.

it's a great daily driver and i would gladly own another one day just to beat up on. www.preludeonline.com was the site i frequented back then.
