I love his acting. I just watched this (terrible) movie on Comedy Central because of his acting ability. He and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are thefuture of acting.

IMO, Kal Penn's best work was in the film, The Namesake. I stumbled on this film on PBS one night and he was quite good in a serious role.It's about the son of Indian immigrants trying to fit in America.

Yeah but unfortunately they purposely written him off the show so Penn could get the job for the Obama Admin. I don't doubt his intelligence,he was one of the major helpers during the Obama Campaign. I highly doubt that Harold and Kumar film comes out with him working for the Govt. now.
