Has anyone booked a flight or hotel using kayak.com?

My friends and I are planning out spring break trip, and we stumbled upon this website. Is this website legit, are the deals real?

Thanks.

Yea, I still prefer priceline.com name your own price and the hotwire.com secret deals or whatever they call it where they tell you everything about the hotel exception the name (star level and exact location by neighborhood are most important) until you book it. I've scored some crazy steals on there, like 44$ a night in Queens Fairfield Inn which on the website it 212$ a night and 192$ a night with AAA discount. Using hotwire.com I stayed in, I think the Hilton at Hartsfield Jackson airport in ATL for like 55$ a night and again it's much more expensive than that.

But kayak.com is legit too. I usually use tripadvisor first, then priceline and hotwire then go with the best deal between the 3

How come they don't show you what the rooms look like? I'm trying to find a picture of the suites or rooms and they only show pics of the pool or workout room

that's my gripe with these sites. I want to see what the room im ordering looks like.

Right off the bat you can try these sites for plane tickets:
-Kayak
-Travelocity
-Expedia
-Priceline
-Orbitz
Best luck would be on those sites. You can also try to find other sites on google. I just named the top sites.

definitely legit. they're probably the most popular travel search engine.

before you book a hotel, make sure you do it with a company that lets you cancel without any fees 24 hours before your check-in time or let's you pricematch their own or another company's prices. most hotels get cheaper as the date approaches, but you can book it as early as possible in case it doesnt.

as far as booking flights, i think most are non-refundable once it's booked, but orbitz gives you a refund if another customer books that same flight for a lower price.

doesn't kayak already search those other sites?? haven't used it in at least a year but its def. legit. there's really no way for kayak to scam you b/c they're redirecting you to other sites.
