Do you REALLY think the bible was written by people that were there? Biblical scholars...people who LOVE jesus... cant get ANY closer than 70 years after the supposed events happened to say Luke wrote the first part of the bible. Back then thats like 2 almost 3 generations.

Look at the first 4 books of the New Testament. They were written by 4 different dudes all through their own eyes.
Yet you follow it.
The books are written in different styles and you have different witnesses of the same events. Each dude saw something different but overall the same message comes across.
Maybe because if you knew anything about bibilical history you'd know that its theorized maybe a BUNCH of people wrote the new testament with paul using his name for most of the stuff...which is why it all seems so jumbled and lacks consistency.
In fact the only book in the bible that is the MOST consistent is leviticus.

Before Jesus died, God forgave us through animal sacrifces and burning our crops.
God probably saw that this was getting a little old so Jesus was sent to be the ULTIMATE sacrifice, the final sacrifice.
When that happened, a new covenant was created.
God made rules then scrapped them because he made a mistake.
It separated what happened in the Old Testament to the new life and the new way of living the New Testament would bring.
