You can take the playoffs and I'll raise you an inept front office. Players can't control what's around them. Just ask KG.
I rather ask Joe Smith.

Since I don't feel like venturing into the Minny season thread, will you agree that this year's team is better than the teams led by Big Al? And that you guys are expecting more than 22-24 wins?

I can't fault him too much. I always liked him. McHale was just dirty.

As far as Minny being better? I wouldn't say they're neccessarily better, but they have a lot more promise for the future. Big Al was a really good player, he just didn't give this organization much of a direction.

People use the Timberwolves team as an excuse of why they lose so many games. They are one of the youngest teams in the league just like us. What makes their young talent so much different than ours which is supposedly low lottery level talent from what most think?
Leaders get their guys to play together. It takes coaching too, but I'm not too sure on the Twolves coaching situation. I thought Rambis was decent, but I don't know...JPZ? So, either our team is a lot better than people want to give them credit for or Zach is that good? So, which one is it going to be?

The Grizzlies aren't nearly as raw as Minnesota. The Wolves are still a franchise player away from the potential direction of this team being identified and tying this team together, whereas the Grizzlies have the pieces in place, but are still growing together as a team.

Memphis at this point is better. I wouldn't at all say it's because Randolph is that good. They have players who each have a specific role and that fit certain categories within which a team is built. Wolves don't have that identity. To answer your question, I'd choose that Memphis is better than given credit for, because given the two, it's definitely not because Randolph makes his team better.

It's hard to have this arument vs Aldrige when Love gets no help whatsoever. What team in the NBA has any success when they only have one starter score more than 4 points?

That's one argument, but damn Minny...That's pathetic.
