KNEE BRACES??????

I tore my meniscus a year ago and it is still kinda is irritating. I was thinking about getting a Bauerfeind GenuTrain Active Knee Support to use while playing Basketball.

Do any of yall use knee braces?

If so which ones do you use? and why

Bauerfeind is a very good brand. I usually recommend them for athletes just coming back from ACL reconstruction or sprain. Theyre pretty pricey for a non medical professional consumer, though. The most basic ones go for $100.

i have two of them.. i use them for crossfit.. and basketball and that is just for support.. no real knee issues, anymore... but just to prevent them in the future

I thought a knee brace does nothing for a meniscus?

I think they are suppose to help with comfort. At least thats what I heard from reviews.
