For any athlete these are the absolute worst and suck a** lol.......I sprained my left MCL years ago and just stayed off of it for a month and then start to ball on it with a knee sleeve. Now I just disclocated my right knee cap!!! I dont know what to do and I need info on how you guys treated your knee problems and what kind of brace or sleeve is best????

go see a doctor. as long as you have insurance they are relatively inexpensive

I just had my ACL reconstruction done with my meniscus repaired in my right knee. Probably the toughest recovery I have ever been through thus far.

Go to the doctor, find out how serious the dislocation is

I recommend this brace

Go to the doctor, knee injuries are nothing to mess with and if you dislocated or think you dislocated it i would see a doctor asap.

its a month later after the dislocation and i can jog, i might be able to sprint but im kind of scard of trying.....and also i dont have any insurance

Damn, no insurance is tough...but some places have free clinics and options to at least get a physical/diagnosis. I am guilty of neverrrrrrrrrrrrrr going to a doctor unless a bone is protruding through my body or I need staples in my head.

Lately my knees feel shot....I am about to turn 27 and have been playing sports/basketball forever. I am not sure what could be causing this now....I have had knees pop, roll, hyperextend, you name it, but feel that I have a pretty high pain threshold. I might be seeing the years of not tending to injuries correctly start to rear its head.

Go to a doctor....I should have listened to folks. :{

I hurt my knee.. A couple months ago.. While playing basketball..

As I jump to grab a rebound.. My knee went out of place.. From being straight to being sideway. .

When I fell to the ground.. It pop back in place..

knee exercises! They hurt to get through but they really help in the long run.

Appreciate the videos.

Knee just went out sprinting downhill today. :\

Yo op go get a job so you can get insurance then go get your self one of those Stone Cold Knee brace's :hat

is it back in place?

just strengthen the quads and calves and the muscles around the knee, gradually increase the activity, but playing pivot sports will slowly wear down the knee if there is other damage that can only be seen through an MRI

no insurance is killer.

tore my acl in march got surgery in june, approaching 2 months on the 11th, knee isn't straight yet and feels stiff alot. feelsbadman

i messed up my MCL playing football in high school and it still gives me problems

i'm probably going to need surgery sometime down the line :(

I've been getting soreness below my right knee cap after ball lately, kinda shook :(

My knees have been giving my slight problems since HS football injuries... Still continue to ball on them.

I suggest getting knee braces and icing your knees after ball or workouts.
also you guys should try the foam roller. It helps with soreness around your leg area.

Alot of info can be found on google.

I've dislocated my left knee cap 5 times and had surgery 2 years ago.

They fitted me for a brace that is specifically for knee dislocation. It is a knee brace with a J shaped bar of thick material that runs right along the outside of your knee cap. This prevents your knee cap from sliding out.

Excersice wise, strengthen your quad muscles, it is the number 1 thing to prevent dislocation from happening.
