Knowledge on this scam?

I'm new to Ebay and I just got this message from a dude with ZERO feedback and I'm really sure it's a scam. But then again, I'm not sure if it is a scam. Can anyone help me out? The guy said

I was selling an iPhone 4S on Craiglist and some dude from St. Louis said his son works in Nigeria and he would pay an extra $100 for shipping.

I knew it was a scam, so I played along and said I needed more than that cause shipping is expensive so he sent me two fake PayPal emails saying the $175 for shipping was transferred but I will get it in my account once the tracking number was provided. Then I finally said "Sorry, but someone else already purchased it."

Dude even sent me an email saying, "I am very noble and would never scam someone because it would tarnish my name as well as my family's."

C'mon son!

Scammers are getting worse and worse.

Have gotten tons of buyers who try to use the EXACT same scam. Always have 0 feedback and even though I list to buy unless you have at least 10 positives, it continues to happen. Sucks having to re-list the item over and over.

You read anything that has the word "NIGERIA" in it, relist the item and leave him bad feedback.
