Like dude said, I could see it being a problem if it was street violence like "grand auto" but there is no problem with this commercial. It's not Kobe's job to be a role model for little kids. Im sure a lot of atheletes would love to do cameos for stuff that don't have to do with their sport. With the popularity of Call of Duty, why not be in the commercial?

NO NO NO .. they completely missed the point of that commercial. It has nothing to do with any of those people having an "Inner Soldier" within them. That would be a gross disrespect to all of the Veterans and active servicemen and women if that were the case. This commercial simply was using the idea of all these people, famous and non-famous for example, to draw to the implication that not just heavy Gamers or "Geeks" play Call of Duty or any game anymore. More so this game and any other can now be seen played by your next door neighbor... or your postal worker ..... or your fast food attendant .... or your neighborhood ice cream truck driver .... or any Joe the Plumber around the way for that matter. All within an online setting and you wouldn't even know it. Total Non-Issue and of course another example of how the media will over-sensationalize anything to stir up what they would infer as a decent Topic of discussion.

I think Kobe is on autopilot in terms of his image. Look at that photoshoot he did last year and read the interview. Dude is happy with life --- rings w/o Shaq, Olympic gold, max contract til retirement, endorsements restored. I think he's at a point where he doesn't give a #### anymore. If he can restore his image after a rape allegation/adultery I doubt he cares about anything lesser.
