The business is changing. International flight is where the money is at since you have to eat when you fly 10+ hours. Turkish is a relatively unknown player in the game and this is a great way to expand its brand awareness.

not really. Kobe signed an endorsement deal with Turkish airlines a couple years ago, so, of course ads and commercials would fall under general work. So yea I'm sure they're paying him well, but it's probably all included once you're signed.
Far as Messi, wouldn't be surprised if he was signed either.
