nah, last night was a little expected. it shouldnt have been THAT close, but Australia aint no joke. You gotta remember, some of these FIBA rules our guys dont full get and other countries can take advantage.

IMO usa is playing sloppy. Not a lot of chemistry, lots of turnovers, and not a lot of exciting plays. Melo did his thing tho.

Melo was the only one to show up.
But also what needs to be remembered, these other countries players have played together for years and years and have built some serious chemistry. While our players are clearly much more talanted, the lack of experience of them all playing together and lack of chemistry comes into play.

yeah I've factored that in, but it's worked well for our last 2 olympics because we had overall better players which had better chemistry right off the start. I said in the beginning when this team was chosen that it's a bunch of B-list players and not a lot of playmakers which could cost us.
