They shouldn't give up a future first round pick until they know more about AD's prognosis, but they should still explore the trade market.

Jim Buss and his drama, then Jeanie had to step in which caused more drama. Being cheap with certain players while letting Klutch tell you to sign THT to an extension before AC....
The Buss Kids just don't have what thier father did.
If the Suns got 4 Billion, you can't tell me the Lakers wouldn't get 6 to 7B.

If you go back to the late 2000s championship teams, Dr. Buss would be very conscious with paying the role players too.
