**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Ideal situation, the team is balanced and deep enough next season with or without a 3rd star player to where they can adequately manage Lebrons playing time to minimize wear and tear and preserve him for the playoffs.

Denver was the better team. But you can also make the case the Lakers ran out of gas. They didn’t go over .500 until April. They weren’t even in a play in spot for a good chunk of the season and it was a battle on that end. For a team like them, simply being good enough to get a playoff spot locked up early to where the play in game is looming over them would go a long way.

They don’t necessarily need the big home run move this offseason. But rather so moves which can allow them to still be competitive while being able to manage Lebron and AD’s minutes.

Nuggets also took a month off before the playoffs started since they had the 1 seed locked up. Jokic got to rest and they got to take it easy.

Meanwhile the Lakers have been playing balls to the wall hoop for 3 months. That **** gotta take a toll.

If they can find a 3rd star while keeping Rui, AR, Lonnie and Wenyen while getting a legit decent center....coo

We did the best we could season was a disaster just 90 days ago…

Jay Z > Nas
See y’all next season (week)

Mike Garcia is incredible with the draft.

Was hyping Reaves (and Jalen Williams) before lakers got him.

Also: did not know Jalen Williams on OkC was projected as mid second rounder and this guy wanted lakers to get him in 2nd round. Obviously he made leaps in the combine and that lead to his rise to the lottery.
