Lebron and Lakers mutually moved on (with lakers having a more prominent role in the moving on process since they have Luka).
Still As CP said, it’s a fair question to ask: why not resign in LA?
I think that decision either woulda been harder and or it woulda made his decision look sillier if they were able to get Kessler without giving up so much, dumping all the dead salary using those picks, signing Peyton Watson and one-two of grimes/mamu/sexton/smart - then he woulda looked dumb as hell signing with the Warriors

it would be salt in the wound if LeBron takes the minimum elsewhere. Let’s be real, even if he was happy here and wanted to come back, he would never take the minimum for us. It’s just really rich that he wants to do it now. Maybe I’m just salty lol

Only way you get Peyton Watson is to dump Vando, Hardy, Laravia, Knecht with all our picks to a cap team and offer that 28 mill to Watson. But has to be done by Monday morning.

There were some awful individual defensive performances from Luka… two things I remember mostly from that series was Windy calling him out and they kept mentioning his “blow by rate” (or whatever they called that stat…lol has that even been used since that series?). Boston did attack him repeatedly on that end… was it bad ALL series long? Not sure maybe he got better the more it became a talking point.
Offense was the main issue… Kyrie had a bad series, don’t recall Luka being all that great either. Pretty sure that Boston team was full of great individual defenders, I would imagine if you go back and watch there was no pick and roll matchups to exploit and even if Luka scored he had to work hard for the buckets he did get.

This is exactly what I mean. It will take a couple years for Adou to learn the intricacies of the game and when he does, he can be the Lakers version of OG
