I hope we get Randle. Just the way he play around the basket.. makes me think he's the most NBA ready over Wigs and Parker

Among the top tier guys:

Embiid - Big, young and skilled. I like the mean streak he's been showing lately too.
Wiggins - He projects to be the best two way player in the draft if he isn't already.
Parker - Big time scorer, but I worry about his lack of defense and elite athleticism.
Randle - I think he'll be very good, but who needs a PF when Love is coming in 18 months?
Smart - High floor/low ceiling type prospect, but the inconsistent jump shot worries me. I generally do not like big bully type point guards much either.
Gordon - Great athlete, but eh, I'm not a fan of tweener forwards. Maybe he'll be one of the few to prove me wrong though.

I don't know enough about Exum.

P and CP, What's your draft lists look like at this point in the collegiate season?

Curious. I don't watch nearly as much college bball as you guys, so your opinions will help me pick and choose which games to tune into and what players to watch out for.

Parker and Wiggins are still 1-2 for me, at 18, sure they have "flaws". Flaws can be fixed if the guys have the desire. Kobe JUMPED from 19 to 20. Bron JUMPED after his 2nd year. Paul George is JUMPING as we speak. TMac JUMPED. It comes, IF, they care. If they don't care, they become Vince, talented, but never THAT guy.

Embiid, absolutely see a better Bynum.

Randle, Smart, and Exum

LaVine. 8o :hat

If we get ANY of these 7, Laker fans will be happy once again. ANY, I don't even care which one, ANY of these 7, is worthy of inserting into Laker lore and getting him to work right away.

I know that 1, or maybe even 2 of them might be Milicic, or the Kaman of the top 6-7. But we tend to not find those guys, we tend to make them great. They play better for that Laker uni. I expect that here.

Embiid goes to the Bobcats, he becomes Embiid.

Embiid goes to the Lakers, he becomes EMBIIDDDDDDDDD

We seem to have that rabbit's foot in our pockets.

They all have to pass the process. They have to interview well. They have to want it. They have to work their balls off. If they don't meet that criteria, we pass, and take the next kid that will be those things for us. They have to kill, eat, sleep, breathe basketball. If they do, where is their limit?

Our rafters. :smokin

Randle can physically dominate his opponent and is pretty agile for a guy his size. Watching him he reminds me a lot of Derrick Williams when he was down in Arizona

Seems like a lot of the hype is dying down on many of these prospects. hopefully this draft is more like the 03 and not so much the 08 draft

..............8o

Now that's the CP I mess with. :hat

Nice breakdown. Thanks. Rep for both of you guys.

But now You got me all hyped up for the draft and the seasons not even halfway done. :{ :lol

agreed.

I hope they are as good as advertised.

DWill didn't dominate at all like Randle does down low.

He was more of a fatigue guy, stepping out and shooting it and then just more athletic. Few solid moves down low, but that comparison is not close at all.

he is a good shotblocker and is strong enough to stop other bigs from backing him up but he needs to learn how to stay out of foul trouble, which is understandable being as young as he is

アミーゴ アミーゴ yea I was low key trolling with that comparison. But it's not that far off in terms of just jumping over guys in traffic or just banging and finishing thru contact, both are/were capable of that. Randle is a better athlete and post player no question

IF, we are sure Love is coming, then Embiid or a PG/SG become much more important than a PF. (Obviously)

But Embiid is the Center type that Love would function greatly off of spacing wise, protecting Love on defense wise, etc.

Pretty sure we need to be top 3 to have a shot at him.

Or, we could draft Exum/Smart, and sign Love AND Marc Gasol. :evil :hat
he will give Antoni his D back :evil

obviously not srs
Gimme smart or Parker and this season is a success

Haven't seen much of the Levine(sp?) kid, but I hear some of y'all sayin his athleticism is comparable Russell Westbrook. That works for me

I feel like if LaVine went to another school, he wouldn't be getting the Westbrook comparisons. We'd be hearing his name next to Terrence Ross or Jeremy Lamb. :lol
