Ehhhh, kinda. 6ers are TANKING. We just aren't very good, not 6ers either.

Kinda different, ya know?

Guess what page? :lol

That enough Ska? This is September. Need me to rummage the off-season thread or we have enough evidence of my opinion of this team before the year?

CP, find me a quote where you said (either before the season or less than a month in) that these injuries what happened.

Of course it's easy to say, after the fact, "Season was a bust from the jump. Too old."

Show me where you said that back THEN.

And not some October 'sky is falling' post where you just like "We ain't doing JACK," but no explanation why, and then NOW you're like "Told you. Too old."

Nah, show me back THEN where you said that.

Please and thank you. :D
You mean like the quote when I said "we won't need to "tank" for losses, those will just happen? ;)

I'm on my phone, but I'll search for it.
Nah, bro. You could have meant that as a jab at our sorry role players and directionless FO. ;) I'm talking about SPECIFICALLY mentioning that we would see as many injuries as we have... BEFORE we started seeing them.

Ok. I know I spoke on Kobe, you see that one.

And I DAAAAAMN sure spoke on Nash ain't gonna do nothin.

I'll have to find the off-season thread and pull those.

I know I posted about Kobe, Nash, Pau and Blake all bein a year older. I think that was when I threw "delusional" out there and upset a nation. :lol

He's going to come back sooner than anybody, no doubt in my mind. He has the best trainers and drugs around. But he is going to over-compensate for that ankle. And it will cause his opposite knee, or hamstring, or quad or something to go lame, and it will hinder him as much as the achilles itself.

And on top of all that, he won't be able to give 40 minutes a night anymore, which hurts as much as anything.

He'll steal a game here and there like always, but we won't be able to escape what's coming. Younger, faster teams are still out there, and there is zero fear of our mystique at this point. Teams will pound away at Nash and Pau on defense, as well as Kobe's limited mobility/footspeed and will simply grind us down.

We'll scrap. Lot of heart and pride on this roster, we will fight. But in the end, cream always rises to the top.

Ska, you locked the thread, so I can't quote/bump. But this is me, 8/14/2013 in the off-season thread.

This still isn't the post I was thinkin of, but its close enough. You can see my opinion of this team before the season began. It's clear I expected nothing of them, stars and all.

How do they set the draft order for teams with the same record in the lottery? I know in the playoffs it goes head to head match-up, division record, and conference record, but that doesn't really work for the lottery. Is it by coin flip?

Yes, coin flip.

Nike Hoop Summit is on ESPN 2 tonight at 7 ET if you want to see next year's draft prospects. 8o

Have it on pretty good authority that Cal will be our next coach. As soon as the end of next week.
