Kobe had his best shooting year last season from what I remember

Exactly.

Said it on Twitter, Shannon Brown, Trevor Ariza, Jordan Hill, Earl Clark, Xavier Henry. Mitch reclamation projects >>>>>>>>>>>*

The guy finds cheap, young, thrown away talent and they blossom in LA. Great trait to have.

Why couldnt it have been Mitch AND Jimmy Buss???....just pointing that out
We gotta start giving both of them the praise and both of them the blame as well

Darius morris and chris duhon. They started gms last yr.

Im grateful for the likes of swaggyp, farmar,x,kaveman, wes, will, hill.

X-man is looking like a surprise bonus like Easy was last year. We always seem to get lucky in the mist of chaos.

1 down...81 left....We're coming.

this clown barkley saying that he's not going to watch bad teams this year but he will watch the celtics and not the lakers

did he come home one day to find his wife checking out kobe's tattoos or something?

In all seriousness, it's one of the downfalls of his commentating. He just is so quick to "predict"  something negative about Kobe's team, like all last year he somehow found a way to slip in that the Lakers weren't going to the playoffs every telecast.

On the sequence where Kaman came up with a loose ball, but then CP3 took it right back, Nash kind of slipped and appeared to grab at his back as he attempted to change direction and get back on defense

So you honestly have no clue why he does it?

If these announcers really had freedom of speech on the show, you'd hear Kobe get roasted every show. These guys don't like Kobe and there's plenty of reasons why.

Chuck doesn't have a bias against the Lakers (or some personal issue with Kobe Bryant...), he just has a bias against teams he doesn't think are very good.

He used to speak at length about how the Thunder weren't going anywhere because they were a jump shooting team. It sounds like hate because he says it so much, but it's just his opinion that he reiterates over and over.

Solid first win. Good to see then out there hustling and going all out

Its just one game and aside from pau and Farmar and an injured Kobe, none of them were on the title teams but I wonder if all that talk from the clippers about covering the title banners for their home games gave the lakers any extra incentive to come out and try and make a statement.

I'm happy with the solid start tonight. If they can follow it up with a win in golden state it would be all the more better.
