Lava dome reissue coming ever?

Haven't been around in a couple minutes... but hoping ya'll can help me out.  I've just about burned my last pair of '98 lava dome retros (crumbling midsole) and wondering if anyone knows if there's plans to re-issue anytime soon? Sorry to be quick 'n dirty but search didn't help.. anyone in the know? Love you from the shadows, NT. Thanks.

Yeah, they're coming back...I'm not a fan of that new midsole/outsole at all.

The Lava Dome 2.4 from a few years back was pretty solid. they didn't sell heavy at retail but god those things were comfortable and pretty durable.

So apparently this new release also got an Ultra treatment

they do look a bit dumbed down in the sole area.
