So the story is i bought these on release date back in 2016 and I recently sold them and the buyer is claiming they are fakes. Now I’ve tried everything but he still claims there fake so i need some backup so any help would be appreciated

They look good to me man. The box, box label, patent leather, toe caps & heel area. I have a pair at home that came from footlocker. I'll double check them against these pics to be 100% positive but I'm pretty sure you're good here.

My assumption is someone the buyer knows told him they were fake and it freaked him out leading to this situation.

he claims the 45 on the pair is slanted and he started a paypal dispute and thanks to everyone who commented as this will certainly help and worst case scenario, ill just refund him and get the shoes back.

This was my thought as well. The shoes look fine to me. A slanted 23 is a manufacturing issue(a flaw), Alone this is not a tell for fake 11s. They are so massed produced these days many have small flaws.
