Can you legit check those pics for me and tell me if you think that is a legit pair? Everything looks good to me but I'd like some additional opinions to be safe.

Also what is fair market value for a DS pair?

Looks good to me. Only odd thing is that the left shoe yellowed like that.

Those DB 3s are legit.  The elephant print isn't too high, the stitching is onpoint, and the tongue isn't choppy, but like @agsz  said, it's a little odd that only the left shoe is yellowed like that.  I'd say fair market value for a regular (not a sample) DS pair of DB 3s would be $650, but the DB 3s you're looking at are said to be samples so that may justify the higher price.  If you're lucky, you may be able to snag a DS pair for a little under $650 on websites like eBay or Kixify.  You just have to be very careful when using those sites as many fake pairs of shoes are put up on those websites.

I've been looking for an authentic DS pair for a few months now and the best price I've been able to negotiate down to has been $650, although I didn't buy that pair. I'm holding out for $600 as I believe that is fair.

I'm looking for other people's opinions regarding if $500 is really market value for a DS pair of DB3s.

You're right, I think I was thinking of a different pair of shoes and I typed the wrong prices.  Fair market value would probably be around $650.  My bad.
