There's a multitude of reasons those are fake beginning with the carbon fiber. Stay away from marquee sole been known to sell high quality fakes. Let the seller know in case he was unaware. Seems as if he wasn't tryin to deceive you since he told you he purchased from them.

your good on these man.. They are GS size which is why the CF looks like that and they have skinnier laces.. Marquee sole has been known to sell replicas but in this case i think you are fine, im not familiar with GMs being in GS sizes....
