LC on OG XI 11 BRED (Black/Red)

What's up everyone. This is my first pair of OG XI and only have the 2009 Space Jams & 2010 Cool Grey to compare with. Based on other legit checks for OG XI breds, what I have appear to be on point, but I'm not too sure for the following reasons that are not obvious in pictures.

1. This OG XI's tongue is less padded/thick versus newer XIs I have
2. Patent leather on OG XI is softer versus stiffer feel of patent leather on newer XIs I have
3. This OG pair does not have the same comfort level on the heels (as if there's no air sole)

So before I un-DS these shoes and make them un-returnable, I'd like some confirmation from your expertise. Thanks in advance!

yes definitely legit, everything is on point, look at the massive cut on the patent compared to retros. you get more patent for your money!

i love the white lining on the patent, gives it nice contrast.

as for the comfort level, man we're talking about a 15 years old shoes here..so it can not be compared to the older retros, in terms of comfort.

there's a big possibility that the air unit is stiffened/hardened through out the years, so they dont have the same feel as they used to have.

my personal opinion, u better not unDS them..i have a friend that unDSed his DS 2000 concords, the sole separated and the air unit exploded into powders.

for sure 100% LEGIT. All those things you've listed are just better quality on OG's except for the no air sole thing. Its probably because they haven't been worn before, once you put em on Im sure they will feel comfy especially since their extra cushioned.

There is a possibility that they would have sole separation, I just un-DS'ed my '01 Breds and after a few hours one of the misdoles separated but the air unit was fine. Worst case with XI's are that theres separation of either the midsole or the sole itself, but all you need is some adhesive and there good to go again.

There is a possibility that they would have sole separation, I just un-DS'ed my '01 Breds and after a few hours one of the misdoles separated but the air unit was fine. As far as the comfort level, it improved after I put 'em on and shifted my weight from front of my feet then to the heel while standing (yeah, weird). I did this for a few minutes, LOL! I'm not too sure about un-DS'ing now. I can deal with fixing sole separation, but air sole giving out -- not ready for that, heh. I'll definitely hold on to this pair so now I'll have time deciding whether to un-DS. Thanks again!

I bought a pair of DS OG Bred XI 5 years back and wore them. There was no sole separation or popping of any air unit. You should be fine. I'm curious how much you paid for yours. I was able to get my size 8 for $210 back then.

Good to know yours had no sole separation or air unit failure. Anyway, I paid $280 for this size 9 pair, but had I known that it would have less room compared to the XI cool greys I think I would've gotten 9.5's instead.
