LC Space Jam 11s

Hey whats up guys. I got these space jams that I bought off ebay. Everything checks out, but one thing that kind of bothers me is the soles. They are RIDICULOUSLY icey. Like fresh out of the box on RD icey. There is no yellowing at all which made me suspicious. I checked the production date to see if they were one of those air randy pairs from last year, but the production tags check out with the 09 date. Check them out:

These look legit IMO. Even though it is possible to keep them that icy the Only thing is that the patent leather cut on the heel is kinda high and the latest 11s that jb has released have a lower cut than the og.

I'd say early release.

It's not that impossible to see a very icey sole sometimes.Depends on how they were stored.

But the thing that caught my attention was the jumpman not pointing in between the number 23.

Ok I looked around ebay and I noticed that there are other pairs in various sizes IDENTICAL to these with the super icey bottoms, the high patent leather cut and the same jumpman lining up with the 23 issues. Did the SJs from 09 have a very light blue tint? I swear they were a clear, translucent bottom with no tint but I could be wrong. Could these possibly be a new batch of fakes??????

Yeah that's what I thought. Don't want to jump to conclusions, but there might be a new batch of super fakes out there....:x I'm getting my money back asap.

I would imo. That pl cut in the back is too high. And I don't care how you store them, there's going to be some hints of yellowing to the soles. It's been almost three years. No f'n way.

So I messaged the seller and explained everything to him. He said these were from early releases in 2009. Can anyone verify this??

Everyone has their opinions about early releases. All I can advise to you is check the previous XI threads including the current BRED thread and come up with your own conclusion. The fact that they have such icey soles is a big red flag, but the carbon fiber is legit on them. They could be superfakes put together with authentic materials.

Dude i was just going to post something like this too. I have been on the look out for Space Jams and noticed a bunch of these popping up super icey. I don't care how well you store them, these soles should be slightly slightly yellow if that. The only only flaw and i could be over thinking this, is the end date on the tag is too far down than the beginning date.

mentalkicks is constantly getting restocks of these and some people used to say this site was legit.

Even though i hate piss yellow soles, i personally would rather spend $300-$350 on some slightly yellowed Space Jams than spend that cash on some B grades, early releases, or fakes. That's just my opinion.

They do look to good to pass up though.

I think people need to aware of whats going on. I see a bunch of these for sale on the ISS market, ebay, etc. These fakes are everywhere.

Unless you get receipts (they can still pull a switcheroo) you never know

AR and SDS pairs all had real carbon fiber too. He's trying to play you my 2¢

Yup. Dude is trying to get over on me so im going to have to leave it in ebays hands when i escalate the cas. I've owned 2 pairs of space jams and none of them looked like this. I will use all of this evidence in a case against him and hopefully ebay can see what im talking about.
