I'm definitely not a sneakerhead, but I bought these LeBron 14's out of Ross department store. no box of course, but the inside size tag has the UPC and shoe code pull up Nike LeBron 14 red brick road. At first glance they look like the other pictures I saw online but after closer inspection I see difference in the bottom sole mine have black background underneath the clear gel sole compared to the red that I've seen every other picture online.

Also, and other pictures on the white outer sole the shoe has black specks of paint mine has red. Also my LeBron keychain that hangs on the lace straps is black compared to red and all others and pictures. Are these shoes fake or are they just some sort of early revision? They inner UPC tag also has a early date of 2016 these shoes were released in early 2017. Any help will be nice thank you

They are more than likely a hiccup from the production(kinda like a B grade if you will) or a variant that Nike decided wasn't the final model to be sold. Marshalls,Ross,TjMax all sell legit product. Sometimes they will get unreleased colorways etc as well.. I'd hold onto them and see if anymore pop up out there for sale. You may be able to make a few bucks if they are kept DS.

Thank you I appreciate it what does "kept DS" mean?

I bought them in the hopes to flip for a few bucks, but I don't wanna sell anyone anything fake so I just wanted to make sure. When googling the shoe code is different then most LeBron 14s I see for sale, but when I type the number in on mine red brick roads come up on Google. However, the main UPC under the bar code pull up a pair of LeBron 15s and don't match other LeBron 14 tags.

I wouldn't sweat the upc code. The shoes probably won't match anything online bc they are an unreleased colorway. DS means Deadstock as in unworn/brand new.

How would go about determining how much a pair like these are worth? And is there like a shoe/sneaker appraiser that I can take them to, to confirm? I appreciate all your help so far.

That's generally pretty muddy waters honestly. As far as I know there are no appraisers available to "go to" for this type of thing. Maybe other members may be able to help out with that..Usually this would be more of a "make me an offer" type of thing. No way to know how many pairs of them are out there, etc. I would start at base value for the actual released model. Take no less than that for sure. Now you will want to post them on sites like this and others. Use a price like let's say $400 OBO. Take the offer you're most comfortable with. Hope that helps.
