Lebron 4 without straps

Hey i just got a pair of these. They are a Little big and i can't return them. My question is for those who have cut the straps are the shoes looserwithout the straps? And since the fit is a little big would it be better to leave the straps as is?

I wouldn't, you'd be giving up all your ankle support.The lacing system isn't very good without the straps.

yeah these for sure, run a half size big

the straps across the shoe dont give you ankle support, but they look ugly without them.

yeah, dont cut em off. I believe there's a post here on NT that has a picture with the straps cut off.

i think im the only one who likes them without the straps (see in pictures)... but i havn't cut mine.. because they proved a much better lockdown with thestraps on

edit... NEVER MIND!!! for some reason i was thinking you guys were talking about the soldier 3...

I regretted cutting the straps on my pair, after a while the upper at the forefoot ripped.
