Lebron's HS teammates

Watched these boys in the State Tournament all four years they went...probably the best high school team Ohio has ever seen.
I know Romeo plays overseas now, McGee didn't ball in college but I'm pretty sure he went to school and graduated.

Those shoes Bron's wearing, I'm pretty sure those were Emmit Smith's kicks from that year, by Reebok. I've been looking for those for like 5 years now to have them again. I freaking LOVED those shoes. They had visible hex cushioning on the side of the sole (like the Questions).

how is that mooching? im puttin my dudes on and supporting they adventures if i got 100s of millions

Romeo and Dru were playing overseas together in Germany. I know for a fact Romeo is still playing there, but maybe Dru went back to SVSM to take over his father's job as head coach. Romeo plays Cav's summer league every off season but still can't get anyone to sign him. And from what I have heard/seen through print media the entire group is still very close and get together when they are in each other's town or for special events and what not. BUT contrary to popular belief these guys are not riding LeBron's coattails at all.

Dru Joyce (the son) does not coach Akron STVM.. His father still remains there as coach.

I went to the premiere/private screening in Chicago back in August 09, where Bron, all his SVSM teammates and Coach were all in attendance. They did a Q&A after the flick.

Here's pics from the event (crappy cell pics - no cameras allowed)

Even the host/MC of the event ( a movie critic in Chicago) was surprised at how well the movie was made. The director Kris Belman was also in attendance; he spoke about how the project and orig footage used was all for a college homework assignment. Crazy.

Tee given at the event (different than the one you could buy at HOH)

Cant believe you found that commercial!  I remember that as if it were yesterday.  I am pretty sure those are the Bump and Runs that Lil LBJ is wearing in the pic.  As a child, those were the BEST shoe I had, hands down.  I loved those things to death.

They probably made a decent amount of money off of the documentary as well (and continue to from DVD sales).

So the 4 horsemen are different guys. I always thought these guys were them.

Just saw it, very good but not better than Hoop Dreams
