Need help on these.  My brother just bought some these Black metallic V  (link below) are they real or fake and how could you tell. Would appreciate some feeback. Thanks

Hmm, they look FAKE to me. The ad said this was released in 1998 when JB first retroed this in 2000. The Jumpman logo on the tongue looks off, and it shouldn't even crease like that, the quality looks pretty bad.
I could be wrong, but we can wait for others on what they're gon' say.

Yeah I understand what you mean, Im going to have to say fake also.
These are the things that look off to me: (And I posted some comparison photos)

- Stitched Nike Air is a little too low, should be directly under stitching in rear as in pic.

- Toe box looks too square and not smooth like it should in this pic.

 

- The tab behind the tongue looks cheap like the newer retros, it should look silky and plush like this pic.

- The box says made in China but the production date says made in Taiwan

.

- Netting should be as yellow as sole, only OG's netting from 1990 don't yellow.
