Legit Check : AJ 4 Thunder

Got these 2 pairs of Thunder 4s from ebay, they look almost the same in the first place. But after checking through closely, I found some differences between them though the size are different.

Before posting this, I did a quick check on the google and I am pretty confident that US10.5 is authentic pair, but doubt on the US12.

Here is the photos and comparison

1. Box tag, can't see the different.

2. Upper box. US10.5 box have number stamp while US12 do not have anything.

3. Plastic paper. US10.5 is thicker and darker while US12 is thinner and lighter. 

4. Overall shoes shape. In my opinion, US12 shape is bit off.

5. Stitching. US12 stitching are not good as US10.5.

6. Cutting edges. US10.5 is more neat while US12 are having burring.

7. Color comparison. It probably can't be notice in picture. In actual, the yellow color tone is lighter for US12 and white jumpman logo both on outsole and heel is close to milky color instead of pure white.

8. Insole. Quite different between both. US10.5 are having sizing emboss, but not US12. Color tone of Jumpman logo on insole is lighter for US12.

9. Tongue and insole stitching. US10.5 tongue is more stuffed. And insole stitching is quite different between both. Gap between every stitch is much more bigger for US12.

10. Inner tag. No see different.

Please help me on this as the ebay seller claimed that the US12 is a legit pair.

They are both legit.

The size 12 is a different mold than the 10.5 so there are gana be differences.

As far as stitching and shade of colors go.. It's just regular JB inconsistency.

I think you may be over thinking this. The only difference I see is in the insole and that may just be a size difference thing. Why would the eBay seller buy one legit pair and one fake pair? Just strange logic.

It's my fault that I did not make it clear in the first place. I got them from separate seller. This is why I have the enquiry.

I need more opinion for these.

The Size 12 is definitely fake.  The dead giveaway is the flimsy tongue.  Notice the Size 10.5 the tongue sticks straight up.  The legit tissue paper has those tiny dots on it where as the Size 12 looks like it's just a black trashbag... dead giveaway.

He most likely bought a legit pair and a fake pair so he can rock the cheap fakes and stock the legit ones.

He got them from 2 different sellers. In pic 4 you can see the color difference a little as the 12s are lighter. As far as the stitching you cant tell because JB quality control has gone to ***** so its harder to spot imperfections of fakes. I agree with you on the plastic. I wear a 12 and have breds military blues cements and fire red 4s they all have dark plastic and if you feel it its has bumps on it snd its rough. Other than that man you probably have 2 legit pair.

Unlace them and check the side of the tongue it should have "Twenty Twelve".

Also the production date on the size 12 is kind of suspect as well.

12s are fake i believe. The dead give away on fake 4s is the straight line on the side where your pinky toe would be.. look in pic #7. ANY Legit 4s that line between the black and yellow is always STRAIGHT.. like the 10.5... Also i bet if you take out the laces and compare the "twenty twelve" on the tongues IF the fake has it at all it will be much lighter or even upside down..

I think they are most likely early release..which are fake IMO but some people will argue that to the grave.. Hope this helps.

the 12s are fake

look at the production dates. on the 10.5 it was a 1 month period....the 12s is a 9 DAY period....lol

if u look up some fake checks on youtube you'll see a lot of the early release fake pairs have production dates like the 12s. dead giveaway
