Throughout my junior high years it was all friendly
But now this higher learning got the Remy in me
Liquors invaded my kidneys
Got me ready to lick off, mama forgive me

The double entendre between higher learning (education) & higher learning (the movie) is

Then going from Remy (the main character in higher learning) to Remy Martin, talking about liquor to lick off (Remy shooting people up in higher learning)

And even if Jehovah witness, bet he'll never testify, D'Evils...

Jehovah witness' don't believe in testifying since the only one they feel the need to be honest with is God, not any man. Plus, since Jay is known as Hova (Jehovah) he's saying he'll never snitch if he witnesses something.

Like Frank Lucas is my dude, but I ain't tryin' to snitch

Definitely my favorite Jay album and one of my favorite albums ever.  I've actually been listening to this a lot the past few days.  Too hard to pick a favorite song but three that rarely get mentioned that are among my favorites are Bring It On, Regrets, and Can I Live (Remix).  That's one hell of a way to end an album

On another note, Sauce Money had one of the best verses on the whole album, and this line is just too crazy:

Said we was garbage so @$%$ college
Street knowledge amazes the scholars when we coin phrases for dollars

That transition from Murder Was The Case to D' Evils was
