I did a search and I only saw his name mentioned 4 times in the music forum. I've been reading about the late Weldon Irvine the last few weeks and a came across a good interview of him from 2000. In the interview he talked about his views on hip-hop music, the sampling of his music, and the genius of Q-Tip, Mos Def, and Talib Kweli.

Oliver: My introduction to you was through sampling…how was it for you for the first time to be discovered and sampled by hip hop artists?
