because they changed it to the 508

For my personal taste those are a little too fitted. I stick with hard denim 501 and some 514's...

i bought some 521s on clearance before levis discontinued it. i was bummed to hear they stopped making it, but im glad they have the 508s. even better that they made a couple khakis in that model. though i ended up buying some dockers alpha khakis instead, i can see myself buying a few 508s in the future.

i bought the dark denim color, i plan on gettin the khakis soon,
what i loved the best waas how they fall below the knee they they crunch up evenly instead of eventually falling to the bottom and looking "saggy" if you what i mean

I recently bought 2 more pairs of 513 rigids (dark grey and light blue). Was thinking about getting a khaki 508 but the taper at the ankle is a little too much and looks weird.

ive been unhappy with my 514s because the opening at the bottom is too damn wide and drags when i wear low profile shoes, but i happened to try on a pair of 508s at kohls and theres no looking back. they fit exactly like 514s up top, but tapered at the bottom just perfectly.
