We all make mistakes, always want to redo them. But truth is, all you can do is move on, learn from it and avoid repeating them. Don‘t do anything maliciously damaging and you‘ll always have a second chance.

Yeah I've made some mistakes in my day that I still live with inside. Some of them I've never told anyone and probably will never tell anyone.

True., but besides that I've been a mess to some of my friends and my ex girlfriend and simply it's just weird it's not truly about them but the fact that I could have kept our relationship going with my ex girlfriend and or been single the entire time to see where I would be in life at the current stage I'm at right now.

I think it's been answered more than enough, but feeling regret is your choice. You can choose to act differently when the same situation comes up again, or figure out what you need to change because of whatever it is that made you feel regret.

No such thing as being too late to try something new. Failure is relative and everyone is trying to figure something out, no matter how old they are.
