If Randle becomes a beast on the boards could he become Chuck 2.0?

The comparison that Kobe made of him being a Odom in Z-Bo type body to me is pretty damn accurate.

Chuck wasn't a lefty and even though he could go coast to coast on a fast break he didn't have the handles like Odom & Randle have.

Man, it would be nice if the Lakers could trade one of Sacre/Black and Kelly for a SF. Kobe and Swaggy are too small, MWP may not make the roster (and even if he does, he's slow) and Brown isn't quite ready.

No team GM would take those second round garbage pick players for a starting SF or even a bench SF player.

Those 3 players packaged would maybe get the Lakers a late 1st round pick or future 2nd round pick at the most. But a team's GM would want the Lakers to take back a horrible contract.

I thought that was a horrible comparison by kobe . LO was known for his lack of intensity and z Bo is effective because of his wingspan, also a blackhole and cancer most of his career on top of being unathletic. Randle is just the opposite of both. Randle and Randolph should never be mentioned in the same sentence, they're nearly nothing alike.

I understand the financial reasons for trading or cutting Tarik, but I think we need to hold onto our young promising players. He's an athletic young big who can play D, rebound and finish at the rim. I don't agree with getting rid of players like him because at the end of the day, we need a roster of talented players to become contenders again

Let Sacre and Jabari/Kelly go

Good point. The whole article is pretty clouded in pessimism and finger pointing. Still, some of the points brought up are very valid. And its nice sometimes to see something that's not all flowers and butterflies (I'm looking at you TWC)

But it's the same crap reporting with Un named sources, GM's, and NBA Scouts, and executives.

Except Kobe never said Randle is comparable to Randolph aside from body type

So if you cross lamars skillset into a dude of zbos body type you'll get something close to Randle

Even though it was infuriating at the time, it was kind of cool to see the lockout team shouldered by Bynum, Kobe and Pau. Everybody else on the roster was trash besides Barnes and Sessions later on.
