Same things I say on Twitter. I say on here.

As for needing to chill. Go somewhere else if you don't like it.
What's up with the Kobe hate in the NBA thread? Feels like a kobe haters thread :lol
That's when you know you're a stan. :lol It's ALL KINDS of appreciating in there... and criticism.

If all you see is one, it's your own bias preventing clarity.

Jordan Clarkson is a star.

He definitely will be.

I still remember E saying Avery Bradley > Clarkson :x :lol

Before the season started, wasn't and wouldn't have been a controversial opinion about Clarkson.

He had huge holes in his game, and was getting shine on a depleted horrible team.

Still same horrible team. But the big holes in his game like shooting seem to be corrected. Therefore he's passed a bunch of guys already this season. And if he can continue shooting really well and his defense becomes passable. He'll Put himself behind the elites in tier 2.

It's more criticism than appreciation. I mean can't we just give credit without throwing shade? :lol

This is NT.

The same place that turns on all of its favorite rappers once they become too big.

Doubt it. Hope he is though, but star seems excessive.

Russell will be the better and more important player in the near future.
I disagree. Clarkson is showing the capacity to be a very good to elite shooter from 3 and from the midrange and gets to the rim much easier than Russell. And, he's a much better athlete. If his playmaking comes around to being average, watch out.

Let's all just agree this team is easier on the eyes without Lou Williams.

Kobbbeeeeee
Don't goooo

Sorry I criticized your play

PLEASE STAY
shoot 20% for 5 more years I don't care

Shame that accusation prevented him from winning more MVPs

This is False. It didn't prevent him from winning the MVP during the 05-06 season when he was averaging 35 ppg and the 62 in 3 quarters against the Mavs and 81 point game.Nash got his 2nd regular season MVP because was playing great that year and Phoenix was the #2 seed in the West.

What prevented him from winning regular season MVP that season is that the Lakers were the 7th seed going into the playoffs.

No player who won regular season MVP has ever won the award on a team that was a 7th or 8th seed.

The award is voted on by media and sportswriters. That's why he didn't win it that year or in other previous seasons during that time in his career 05 to 07.

2008 when he won his only regular season award the Lakers were #1 or 2 seed going into the playoffs.

Sooooo Denver @ LA. March. Baseline seats @ $160 ea. I think I am about to do it. Should I? Not totally confident Kobe will last until March.
But its cyber monday so 2 tickets come out to $368 vs $600 hmmmm I want to take that plunge!

Tbh, There might've been some pressure to improve the NBA's image after the rape accusation, The Jail Blazers, and the Malice at the Palace. What better way to do so than that Nash? White, clean image, nice guy face, and happened to be playin very well.
Still don't get how you can give MVP to someone who doesn't play defense. And to do it back to back years? Smh.

Unpopular opinion: Dantoni's system inflated a lot of his players stats, and I don't think Nash was an exception.
