I low key think mda was removed partly because he wasn't down with the tank. He was a wreck during that last season. Visibly stressed, snapping at reporters, throwing everyone under the bus. I believe there were even eyewitness reports of him jogging northbound on the 405 south in the wee hours of the night. Whereas byron has been mr. Cool with his arms folded going home to a different taiwanese escort every night.

In truth, letting him go has helped us land DLo and be in position to possibly grab Ben or Ingram, so maybe it was a neccessary evil.

My hope is MDA and Mitch and Jim were in on it, MDA steps down, Byron gets all our picks back "without tanking " and then we fire Byron, and MDA comes back and this team is pretty much perfect for him. Add a Batum/DeRozan (if they are the ones) and let the shine begin.

I would totally forgive Mitch for everything if that happened.

Okay, but then you can't celebrate having DLo or Simmons/Ingram with your logic, because if MDA was as great as you think he is, and it was a poor decision firing him, we wouldn't have landed the #2 pick last year and we wouldn't even be close to bottom 3 bad this year.

Can't have it both ways.

Ehhh the DLeague really isn't as good as you think it is.

There's maybe 4-5 guys permanently there (not a we sent him down for 2 DLeague games and are bringing them back up) who could crack the top 10 of a good team's rotation. And even that may be generous.

And that's not to say Sacre could either. But Ryan Kelly is too good to be in the DLeague. 7 games he's 27/7.49/3 on 52FG%/37.5% 3
