Ian Mahinmi, the center most comparable to Mozgov:
@TimBontemps Ian Mahinmi to the Wizards for four years and $64 million, per league sources. Wizards moving on to Plan B after losing out on Al Horford.
Same deal as Mosgov. Had a good year, a bit more wear and tear since he's been in the league since 2005.

So if the lakers had signed Mozgov to this contact on Sunday instead of attacking it on the first day, how many people would be upset?

Glad the lakers identified their guy. Didn't let anyone swoop and attacked him.

There's room for 1 or 2 more players on the roster right? You guys think we're looking at 1 year overpays, or looking for building blocks (younger players on longer contacts?)

I'd still look at Seth Curry.

I'm thinking barbosa. At least one player from gs will crossover I'd bet. Seth would be nice but I think he's restricted and the Kings traded belinelli I think to free up time for him

Bogut - Mozgov
Draymond - Randle
Iggy - Deng
Barnes - Ingram
Klay - Clarkson
Steph - DLo
Livingston G version - Nance F version
Barbosa - Lou
Rush - Brown
Ezeli - #32 (the **** is his name? )
Kerr - Walton

Clearly not the same talent level, but same mold.

4 years ago GS was not good. Now they're a juggernaut.

I'm optimistic about the young guys too, but this comparison...

Some in here need to get out they feelings
There is a lot of assumption about what the FO did and didn't do. That's where the main source of anger is coming from ...the only thing that's wrong with the signings we made is the extra year that was offered.
But there has to be some education on the market of players and the fact that we won 17 games last year.

The fact that we got Deng and he didn't go to a playoff team is surprising enough.
We are a super young team that was horrible last year we would always have to overpay to get guys here. And it's a straight lie to say we set the market for Centers
Looking at the market and what everybody got paid I am happy with this offseason so far. We are going to rely on the young boys.

The turn is real
I'm ok with the offseason moves so far

Firing Byron and drafting Ingram makes everything else just water under the bridge

Damn, that is closer. Klay/JC was the one I struggled with the most.

Dray-Randle isn't toooo far off, but Lee is closer, agreed.

To me Klay is closer to Ingram. If I were to have a NBA comparable to Ingram it would actually be Klay.
Ingram is like the taller, lanky version of Klay

If I was convinced Ingram was an elite shooter, then this comp would be more reasonable.
