As stated before, trust>love and your emotions. You might like this girl (just assuming) a lot, but you'll have those thoughts in the back of your head all the time and you don't want to get hurt over silly things you can avoid. The "why is she calling her ex?" or the "why is she avoiding the questions?" will be there if you're not satisfied with her answers. You'll over think everything because you are doubting her trust now. No trust, no go.
