No theirs no guarantee unless it was a transaction off ebay. I got screwed twice dealing off ebay. Only shot is paying by credit card, and if anything funky goes on, is to request a charge back.

if you did a deal on ebay and someone scams you, then you can get your money back.
if it was on another site like iss or nt and somone scammed you, then the chances of you getting your money back is very low.
