Do you send it back to the kitchen or pick it out and keep eating?

The other day, I found what looked to be an eyelash in my food. Could have been mine, could have been someones who worked at the restaurant. I kept it gully and kept eating after picking it out. :lol Truth be told, none of us know what goes on in the kitchen. We just put blind faith in the places we choose to eat.

I'm not disgusted by hair unless there is a clump, like in a shower drain or something.

With that said, I usually just pluck it out and keep eating. I'm not the type to make a big deal and hassle a restaurant/kitchen.

honestly I'd just leave because some scumbag waiter will probably do some other shi to my food

Same here...the one time I did was when my girl sliced her hand open on a broken salt shaker in Cheesecake Factory. Needless to say, she ruined the napkin. :lol

This is my exact fear. There are a lot of grimey dudes who work in the restaurant industry....you hear stories all the time of dudes taking out their aggression on the food they're supposed to be prepping.

I'm pretty sure if there's hair in your food, 99% of the time it wasn't done on purpose.

I come from the industry (sort of, I own a food truck in LA), and it's more hassle to mess with someone's food, even if the customer is a complete *******. Most of the time, we just let it go.

To add on to the hassling part, it's actually a huge deal-breaker for me if a girl acts like that. I know so many girls who make a big deal and try and get free meals.

NT Logic: NT thinks only poor/classless people send it back. According to NT, you shouldn't trip if you find a hair.

send it back.  i've had this happen, and I instantly lose my appetite, anything like a sudden texture change or temperature change

in what i'm eating an i'm can't finish it, like a bone or biting into something crunchy where it's not supposed to be. Cold spots in hot food, i'm immediately thrown off by it

It really does kind of trip me out, but if its an eyelash or something, ill just slide that part out of the way and keep on trucking.

It's very situational though. I definitely don't go looking for free meals though. That's a waste.

Who else?

Your man KSteezy said that years ago. Same topic. :{

:lol I hope he was joking....that's some **** if he really thinks that only poor/classless people send their food back if there's a problem.

He went on to say something along the lines of this being a way that "*******s" try and get free meals.

Of course it ended up being a him vs. NinjaReptile argument. This was the first episode of those two that I recalled.

This was back in 09 or so. I remember it being near my birthday that year.

No, those are just the people who exploit it and use senseless things in dining knowing they will back down and take care of the check.

I don't work in the food industry but I know so many people who do and have to deal with lames like this all the time.

I hear you...there are definitely people out there who go out LOOKING to exploit things like this.

What is the lame portion of this situation?

If someone sees hair, and they send it back, they are classless?

Help me make out what you are saying please. I don't want to misquote you.

I don't think sending it back is lame or classless. It's lame that I find your DNA in my food.

Ive found a hair in my burger once, didnt really trip, just asked them if I could get another burger.

My cousin found a roach in her sandwich and ate around it. She's gully and must be bout that life. I heard the monster eem winked at her.

Nah breh. I can't **** with that type of situation. There would be a complaint
