The ******** reached an agreement Friday morning to keep cornerback DeAngelo Hall, and made him one of the highest paid cornerbacks in football, an NFL source said.

Hall accepted a six-year $54 million deal that included $22.5 million in guarantees. The payout of the deal includes $30 million over the first three years.

His agents -- Alvin Keels and Joel Segal -- were ready to explore the free agent market, but the ******** stepped up and made an offer valued at $9 million per year. The Skins had been at $8.5 million earlier in negotiations, but apparent interest from other teams forced Washington to up their offer.

I said this in the offseason post. Now this means that Carlos Rogers is on the trade block. It'll be funnier to see what a team will give up for thedefensive Jaison Williams
