Looking to buy another new laptop.

I recently purchased an hp laptop, and while it is ok im looking for a custom laptop. Meaning not the aesthetics of the laptop, but the guts of the laptop such as the chipset, sound card, graphic card, memory etc things of that nature. What are some sites where i can get a laptop customized? I know of sites like dell and hp etc. But any suggestions? And i have had a mac before, no offense but im interested in pc only. I dont want to spend over a grand.
